The Arizona Community of Boys-to-Men is an extension of the Boys-to-Men Mentoring Network that was created in San Diego California. This growing organization is committed to the development of boys into caring, truthful men with powerful missions in their life.
The core team of Boys-to-Men, Arizona is respresented by Lalo Vargas, Joey Jamison and Joel McCormick. The current focus of the core team is to provide Arizona's first Boys-to-Men initiation weekend entitled "Rites of Passage." The weekend is scheduled to take place at the Mingus Springs Camp on the weekend of August 15-17.
For a successful weekend initiation to take place, it will be essential to have a degree of trust that is established. To that end, Boys-to-Men, Arizona is hosting a community gathering on Saturday, July 12th where families can learn more about the program. The community gathering will be an opportunity for families to learn about the Boys-to-Men program, for men to learn about mentorship opportunities, for boys to take their first step towards the Boys-to-Men program, and for women to learn about supporting their sons. This community gathering will be the first of a series of monthly gatherings that will lead up to August initiation weekend. Click here for details on the gathering and we hope to see you there!

And as we each exercise our own personal Mission of service, we live lives of responsible action and make a meaningful impact in the world.
What is Boys to Men about?
Boys-to-Men is about modeling healthy, mature, masculine qualities. These qualities include integrity, accountability, confidence, as well as a sense of community and an enjoyment of life. Modeling masculine qualities is showing the positive side of community relationships with men as much as it is the personal development of becoming responsible men. The experience is rewarding for both the boys and the men that choose to mentor.
